The Vortice Dining Table is defined by its base, a massive sculptural form cast in solid bronze that reads as the true centerpiece of the design. Two sweeping columns rise from the floor and cross at the center in a tight, sinewy knot before flaring outward again to meet the tabletop, their intertwined movement evoking roots, tendons, or braided rope frozen mid motion.
Resting above this commanding structure is a rectangular top in American walnut, its straight lines and quiet grain offering restraint against the drama of the bronze below. The contrast allows the base to carry the full architectural weight of the piece, while the walnut keeps the surface warm and functional.
