Vena Dining Table, Polished Bronze
The Vena is drawn from the invisible architecture of living systems.
Its sculptural base takes its form from the branching, flowing pathways of neural networks, those intricate webs of connection that carry energy, information and life. Cast in high-polished bronze, the base rises from the floor as an intertwining metallic web of extraordinary fluidity, each curve catching and holding ambient light with a warmth that fills the room around it. The result is a foundation that appears simultaneously organic and engineered, chaotic and precise.
Above this luminous base rests a severe, horizontal expanse of obsidian piano-lacquer. Its liquid-mirror surface is the exact counterpoint the base demands, still where the bronze moves, flat where the bronze curves, absorbing light where the bronze radiates it. The tension between the two is the composition.
