Vuoto Side Table
The Vuoto is a table of deliberate concealment, its most extraordinary quality is one that reveals itself only as you approach.
The exterior is a continuous, cube-like volume surfaced entirely in Eucalyptus veneer, its rich and deeply striated grain wrapping all four sides in a surface of organic, textured warmth. From a distance the piece reads as a single dark mass of natural wood, considered, quiet and entirely composed.
At its centre, a precisely hollowed void is lined entirely in high-polished bronze. The golden interior catches and radiates ambient light outward, transforming the structural cutout into a luminous core of warmth that glows from within the darkness of the wood surrounding it.
