Flavius Chair, Obsidian
The same embrace. An entirely different atmosphere.
The Flavius Obsidian Edition takes the chair’s signature rounded silhouette and wraps it in high-polished obsidian piano-lacquer, a surface so deeply reflective it functions less like a finish and more like a mirror held to the room around it. The curved panels catch and shift ambient light continuously, making this a piece that is never static, never quite the same from one hour to the next.
Sweeping horizontal bands of high-polished bronze encircle the exterior shell with precision, creating a continuous dialogue of light and shadow against the obsidian depth. The contrast is deliberate and quietly dramatic; warmth against darkness, reflection against reflection, each amplifying the other.
Within the architectural shell, the interior opens into a deeply upholstered sanctuary of plush, tactile fabric. The seat and inner back are tailored to receive the body with complete ease, ensuring that the visual drama of the exterior is matched, without compromise, by the physical generosity within.
