Gellus, Frosted Cast Glass

The Gellus is conceived as a horizontal sculpture of light, a cascading arrangement of vertical glass panels of true architectural presence.

In frosted cast glass, each panel is individually handmade in heavily textured cast glass, its raw, crystalline surface catching and diffusing light with the depth and complexity of carved ice. The smoke-toned glass absorbs as much as it transmits, casting a dimensional, atmospheric glow that shifts in character from the cool of morning to the warmth of candlelit evening.

Binding the composition at its centre, a high-polished bronze core holds each panel with golden precision, a warm metallic anchor within the coolness of the frosted glass.
