The Labirinto is named for what it is, a labyrinth rendered in metal, a geometric maze of intersecting planes and right-angled passages that creates one of the most architecturally complex table bases in the PALENA collection.
In the Patina Bronze Edition, the intricate network of the base is forged in raw patina bronze. Its matte, light-absorbing surface gives the geometric maze a quality of profound weight and shadow, each recess of the labyrinth structure deepening into darkness while the outer planes carry the quiet warmth of aged metal. The base appears simultaneously dense and weightless, its visual complexity creating the impression of a structure far more elaborate than any single viewing angle can fully resolve.
Above this architectural foundation rests a sweeping horizontal expanse of rare Macassar Ebony veneer. The striking linear grain of this exceptional wood, dark and deeply striated, introduces a powerful organic energy that meets the rigorous geometry of the bronze beneath it with a force of equal character. Neither material softens for the other. Together they define the room.
