Inspired by the chaotic, explosive geometry of mineral crystal formations, the base of this dining table translates one of the natural world’s most violent and beautiful processes into a handcrafted sculptural pedestal of breathtaking precision. Clustered geometric shards of high-polished bronze rise from the floor in an outward burst of form, each facet catching and refracting ambient light in a different direction, filling the room with a shifting, luminous energy that changes with every hour of the day.
Above this extraordinary foundation rests a severe, horizontal expanse of obsidian piano-lacquer, a surface of deep, liquid-mirror stillness that stands in complete and deliberate opposition to the dynamic complexity below. The quietude of the tabletop and the explosive energy of the base do not compete. They resolve each other, the way silence and sound together create meaning.
