Radice Coffee Table

Radice. The Italian word for root. And a root is precisely what this table is, a thing of absolute grounding, of organic strength made architectural, of natural force resolved into perfect stillness.

The base of the Radice is a study in material layering. A robust patina bronze frame of quiet, heavy permanence forms the outer structure, its matte, light-absorbing surface carrying the depth of aged metal and the weight of something that has long since decided where it belongs. Running through the composition, a deep obsidian lacquer band introduces a horizontal line of darkness that separates the base from the tabletop with architectural precision. Between the two, a hand-polished bronze trim catches the light with a thin line of warmth, a detail of extraordinary restraint that rewards close inspection.

Above this layered foundation, the rectangular tabletop is surfaced in premium goatskin panels. Their luminous, cream texture introduces a softness and organic warmth that meets the complexity of the base with complete composure. The goatskin does not compete with the bronze and lacquer beneath it, it resolves them, bringing the entire composition to a point of considered, unhurried equilibrium.
