Its open-frame silhouette, all right angles, sharp geometry, and deliberate negative space, is finished in high-polished obsidian lacquer that behaves like a liquid mirror. The frame does not simply occupy the room; it reflects it back, drawing ambient light into its surface and transforming as the day moves around it. This is a chair that is never quite the same twice.
The severity of the frame is met, and subverted, by the seat and backrest, which are enveloped in dark, hand-woven Intrecciato leather.
